Kitutu Masaba May Lose Sh15m In KPLC Row

KITUTU Masaba constituency is likely to lose Sh15 million in a power deal between the CDF office and the Kenya Power and Lighting Company.

MP Walter Nyambati yesterday said KPLC has uprooted power lines connecting a primary and two secondary schools in the constituency. "This was a project initiated through the CDF kitty. We shall end up losing all the millions if KPLC does not reconnect," Nyambati said. The MP who was addressing a press conference at Parliament Buildings said the constituency. CDF kitty would lose cash' following the action by KPLC.

"They invaded my constituency' and uprooted the power lines. This is an abrogation of a contract between the clients and KPLC," Nyambati said.
