Parts of Borabu will not be transferred to Sotik contrary to demands by the residents, Eastern Nyanza regional commissioner Lydiah Muriuki has said. Muriuki said there was no boundary disputes between the two districts as alleged by members of the Kipsigis community during the Interim Independent Boundaries Commission hearings. She allayed fears a sub-location from Borabu has been transferred to Sotik secretly. "No body should cheat you that Kineni sub-location has been transferred," she said.
