A technician was killed yesterday after he declined to surrender a mobile phone he had repaired for a customer. Mr Evans Ochanda, who operates at Nyaramba market, was killed by the client who wanted to take the phone without paying for the repairs. The assailant attacked Mr Ochanda with rungus and beat him unconscious before escaping with the repaired phone.
Nyamira police boss Shedrack Maithya said the suspect was arrested and was in custody.
