Meanwhile, some leaders from Bobasi constituency have defended the creation of the proposed Gucha constituency by the IIBRC.
Twenty - one civic leaders led by Gucha County Council chairman, Albert Manyange and councillor Kodheck Keana, claimed the creation respected the population size requirements for a constituency.
Manyange, who read the leaders' joint statement, hailed the controversial Andrew Ligale - led IIBRC for creating three new constituencies including Gucha in Gusii region.
Gucha constituency as proposed has some wards hived from Bobasi and Bomachoge constituencies and includes Ogembo town.
Elsewhere, four MP's from Nyanza have claimed the area was shortchanged by the Ligale - commission in creation of new constituencies.
Heritage assistant minister, Wilfred Ombui, Kitutu Masaba MP, Walter Nyambati, his Nyaribari Chache counterpart, Robert Monda and Nyando MP, Fred Outa, said new constituency for the area was missing in the contested Ligale list.
