Curtains Down on Drama Fete

THE curtain came down on the Nyanza primary and secondary schools drama festivals at the weekend. Negative ethnicity, post election violence, HIV/Aids, corruption, and stigmatization against people with disabilities were among the themes that dominated the five day festival at Sameta and Tendere secondary schools in Gucha.

Nyanza province drama festival chairperson Penina Oketch said the selected schools will fly the provincial flag high during the national championships.

Some of the schools which presented captivating items were: Golden Elites Primary School, hosts Sameta High, Cardinal Otunga High School, Nyachururu Secondary and Muhoroni Furaha Secondary.
