Raila calls for unity among Kenyans

Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called on Kenyans to be united and shun tribal groupings that only serve to divide them.
He said that the task of national development can only be achieved through collective efforts of all Kenyans.
"I urge all Kenyans to be united regardless of their political persuasions and ethnic background.'' Said Mr. Odinga.At the same time, the Premier took a swipe at politicians behind the infamous KKK alliance noting that such an outfit was divisive and aimed at forstering discrimination among Kenyans.
"When they talk of KKK where do they leave the Kisii's and other Kenyans'' he asked.
The Premier said this Sunday while addressing worshippers at Kiambori Catholic Church, Nyamarambe in South Mugirango constituency in Gucha district after attending a church service.
Mr. Odinga also led an impromptu funds drive to assist completion of the church building.
Present were Cabinet Ministers Chris Obure, James Orengo, Fred Gumo, and Franklin Bett.
Others were assistant Ministers Magerer Langat, Dr James Gesami, Simon Ogari, Beatrice Kones, Professor Ayiecho Olweny, MPs Manson Nyamweya, Charles Onyancha,John Pesa and Shakeel Shabir.
