Meanwhile, police in Gucha are holding a man suspected to have killed his wife. The body of Jackline Nyabonyi, 25, was found dumped at her rural home in Bomonyama village, Gucha South.

The husband allegedly locked up their three children in the house before leaving with his wife for their rural home, 20km away. The man is being held at Ogembo Police Station. “The house in which the body was recovered looked deserted.
