LATF for Kisii withdrawn

THE Kisii Municipal Council has not received Local Authorities Transfer Fund for the last two years affecting service delivery in the town. Mayor Aloys Moseti yesterday said due to insufficient funds, the council does not have a proper wastage disposal service and is unable to relocate the public cemetery from the town. Speaking during the Mayor’s Christmas tree ceremony, Moseti asked the ministry of Local Government to reconsider the decision and release the funds.
