TWO assistant ministers have opposed boundaries for the proposed Gucha constituency. National Heritage’s Wilfred Ombui and his Transport counterpart Simon Ogari yesterday rejected the proposed merger of parts of Bomachoge and Bobasi constituencies to form Gucha constituency.
Speaking at Riyabu secondary school in Bomachoge constituency during a funds drive, the two called for the splitting of Bomachoge constituency. “Any efforts to carve parts of Bomachoge and Bobasi to form a new constituency will be rejected. We met as MPs and agreed that Bomachoge should be split,” said Ombui who is also the North Mugirango/Borabu MP.
