A district criminal investigation officer yesterday said his boss misdirected him on the route suspects who were allegedly involved in shooting a man during 2007 Kitutu Chache parliamentary election took after the shooting incident. Former Kisii DCIO Shadrack Juma alleged that Augustine Kimantiria who was then area OCPD misdirected him on the route former Kitutu Chache MP Jimmy Angwenyi and his body guard Ronald Nyariki took after the alleged shooting which resulted in the death of Robert Obwori. Juma was testifying in a Kisii court in a case in which Nyariki, an administration police corporal is charged with the murder of Obwori during 2007 polls.
