Two shot with arrows in Borabu

Two men were shot with arrows in two different villages along Borabu/Sotik common border by suspected cattle rustlers. The two Clement Ocharo 55, and Sagwe Mbeche 40 were attacked at Nderema and Saiga villages respectively in Isoge-Kineni sublocation. Ocharo was shot in his left thigh while Mbeche was shot in the stomach as the suspected thieves flew to unknown destination.
According to sources, the thieves have been attacking Ocharo’s home in several occasions stealing his animals but this time they were unlucky. Area assistant chief Euphan Rosana said that Ocharo and Mbeche were rushed to Kisii level five hospitals to where they were likely to go for operation to remove arrows. Rosana told area residents to maintain peace as they were pursuing the attackers and advised them not to revenge.
