On Friday, a man identified as Eric Ombasa Nyaruri was admitted at Tabaka hospital after allegedly being shot by security officers during the skirmishes that rocked Nyabiore area.
The Nyabiore incident took place hours before a team of the Law Society of Kenya toured the border to collect views on the causes and possible solutions to the clashes. Those killed include a KTDA clerk and two other people believed to be brothers.
During the tour by the LSK team, national vice-chairman Mirugi Kariuki asked the Abagusii and Maasai communities to stop the tribal warfare saying it was adversely affecting the social and economical progress along the border.
The LSK officials later addressed a large crowd at the Abagusii border.
Those present included Secretary General George Kegoro, council members, Justus Munyithia and Lucy Kambuni, and the Kisii LSK branch chairman Kerosi Ondieki.
Those who spoke at the rally blamed the politicians who they said made utterances that promote war and ethnic hatred.
The LSK officials then visited the victims at the Kilgoris Mission Hospital.
