Nyawara Girls Clinch Title

The regular Nyanza Provincial secondary schools finalists were crowned the champions after they eclipsed former champions, Kisumu Girls 2-1 in the final in Kisumu at the weekend.
Nyawara dismissed Musanda Mixed and Eregi TTC by identical 2-0 margin in the preliminaries.
In the semis, they knocked out Lions Mixed of Kisumu 2-1.
Nyawara's victims in the final, Kisumu Girls, won 3-0 in penalty flicks against Sinyolo in another semi-final clash to advance to the finals.
In the boys' category, Rift Valley's Kabianga Boys were crowned the champions after they beat St Mary's Yala 2-0 in the final.
Hosts and defending champions, Kisumu Boys and rivals Kisumu Day failed in their bid to advance to the final after being stopped in the preliminary pool round matches.
Kabianga won 3-2 in the semis on penalty flicks against Cardinal Otunga from Kisii while St. Mary's Yala beat Kisumu's DHT Mixed secondary school 1-0 in another semi-final match.
