Club secretary Wycliffe Mageto said they may move to either Awendo or Kericho if the Kisii Municipal Council fails to repair the worn out fence by next month.
"Our self-reliant team largely depends on the gate collections but now that we cannot effectively control the funds from sneaking through the patches, we may have no alternative but to move," Mageto stated.
Mageto and club founder Dogo Khan appealed to well wishers of the club to support the team with donations towards their Premier league expenses, as well as donations of uniforms, balls and boots.
Meanwhile, current Gor Mahia office, under the chairmanship of Raj Binder Singh is still in force, an official said yesterday, adds Oscar Pilipili.
The office shall continue to discharge its mandatory duties until an Annual General Meeting (AGM) is convened, he said.
The club's national secretary Obita Odero said in a statement that an AGM will be convened as soon as the executive is satisfied with the on-going country-wide recruitment exercise.
Obita stressed that any change in the playing and technical units can only be effected by the executive and added that coaches Tobias Ochola and Maurice Ochieng are still in charge of the team.
The secretary said fans will no longer be allowed to attend the daily training sessions at the City stadium and promised to deal decisively with acts of hooliganism in future.
