Nyachae Denies Ford-P Move

Ford People leader Simeon Nyachae has denied that his party is pushing for a deal with Narc.

Reports saying so were fictitious and aimed at belittling the leaders, he said yesterday at a press conference at Parliament Buildings.

A meeting of Kisii leaders on Monday did not discuss politics but dwelt on development issues, he said.

"Relationships between Ford People and any political party were never discussed. We stated that we should foster good relations with the government, which is our constitutional responsibility," he said.

He was with MPs Jimmy Angwenyi, Hezron Manduku, Joel Onyancha, Omingo Magara, Stephen Manoti, Henry Obwocha, Mwancha Okioma, Geoffrey Masanya and Zebedeo Opore.
