Raila said the hurricane was blowing from the East to West and South to the North and "would soon sweep all the dirt to the sea."Speaking in parables, Raila said the sign of rains were the clouds and expressed optimism they would win at the November 21 referendum.Raila said the star-studded Orange team would give Kenyans a people-driven constitution.
Environment minister Kalonzo Musyoka said the two teams have measured their weights and his team was optimistic that it would win."It is appropriate for us to measure our strength and I am confident we will walk tall after the referendum," he said.Raila said the Bomas team was likely to defeat theKilifi one "captained by Attorney General Amos Wako and coached by Nyachae.""It is the final match and we have put our house in order to ensure we win this game. We are not leaving anything to chance."
Speaking at the same function, 38 MPs including Kanu Secretary General William Ruto, LDP spokesman Joseph Kamotho, and ministers Ochilo Ayacko and Prof Anyang Nyong'o, claimed Nyachae had put a political yoke around the neck of the Abagusii community. The Orange leading lights received a grand welcome as they held a rally in Ogembo town 15km away from Nyachae's campaign meeting at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii town.
"Today is historic in our community. We must be part of the team that is liberating the country," he said.Raila repeated his claims that money was changing hands Parliament."Money is pouring like water from taps," he said, adding that the proposed Bill was going to turn the country into an imperial state run through dictatorship.Speaking at Suneka Airstrip and later at Tabaka market where the team stopped, Musila said the allocation of Sh100 million for the construction of a new residential house for the President was a sign that Kenya was "slipping into the hands of kings."
"A leader does not require a palace. But supporters of the Wako draft want to install a king and are constructing a palace for him already. We urge all Kenyans to reject the proposed constitution," he said.Mandera Central MP Billow Kerrow (Kanu) claimed in the past three years, over Sh750 million have been approved for the development of State House.
He wondered why the money had to go through the Lands Ministry and not the Ministry of Public Works that maintains State Houses and lodges."This is corruption what developments are we taking to State House?" he asked.Former Vice President Musalia Mudavadi claimed there was a plot to frustrate Orange rallies by licensing parallel ones.Kamotho criticised Local Government ministerMusikari Kombo over the pay award he gave to councillors terming it a cheap public relations exercise."This is a gimmick, Kombo is playing and one day history will judge him harshly."
