In separate interviews, they said Nyachae's presidential ambitions are well thought-out and the culmination of an active life right from childhood.
"Although he is my younger brother, he is more robust than me and has been a source of inspiration to our family for a long period," Oururia said.
Talking to the Sunday Standard in Kisii town on Friday morning, Oururia, who is a former Senior Chief of the town, described Nyachae as "chuma ya reli" (railway line).
"This brother of mine, who is only a year younger than me, is fond of waking up early to start his day with a jog," said Oururia adding, "And although many people consider him arrogant, he is only a man born with a strong hatred for falsehood, laziness and dishonesty," Oururia added.
To Oururia, Nyachae's presidential bid is a well thought-out idea as he likens the brother to his late father, former Senior Chief Musa Nyandusi, whom he said was always visionary in his endeavours.
Both Oururia and Nyachae's mother indicated that Nyachae has since childhood possessed the characteristic traits of being strong-willed, hardworking and determined in his endeavours.
The humorous woman depicts Nyachae as a son with rare qualities. She says the former Finance Minister had been a "do-while-resting" boy during his childhood. "He was active in tending the compound besides running errands for his late father as messenger whenever there was need," she said.
Speaking at Keumbu market where she had been driven to in her farm pick-up for the interview, Bosibori, an ardent reader of the Bible, said she leads a modest life at her Simbi farm.
On Nyachae's presidential ambitions, Bosibori said he is mature enough to make personal ambitions and she added that she admires the son's political endeavours.
"I became a member of the Ford-People party when his allies in Kisii decamped from Kanu because of my admiration for his visionary approach to issues and not just because I was his mother," Bosibori said.
In her surprisingly refined Kiswahili Bosibori, now in her late 90s, said she attributes her long life to the care and love of Nyachae and Oururia and, above all, love and care from God.
Nyachae is the most successful of the 40-plus children of the late Nyandusi. In Kisii he has a chain of businesses most of which are run by his equally workaholic son, Michael Moragia.
Nyachae is himself a polygamist. He has many children including prominent Nairobi-based lawyer Charles Ayako Nyachae.
