In South Nyanza, the tournament enters the quarter-finals stage at Kisii High School today while Nyeri, Nairobi and Mombasa also hold their knockouts today.

The Coca-Cola Company has invested Sh10 million in the tournament with the boy’s and a girl’s winners being rewarded with a trophy and a voucher for Sh100,000 worth of sports equipment.

In the boys’ quarters in Kisii today, Senior Chief Musa Nyandusi, Kegati will face Birongo, Amabuko will again tackle former schools soccer giants Itierio while Kisii School will host surprise package Ekerubo mixed.

Newly crowned Kisii District secondary schools boy’s soccer champions Nyamagwa SDA, Gucha’s Sameta and Gesero will play each other after all of them tied on points. The top two will qualify to the last four.

In the girls’ category, Gucha’s Sengera will play Suneka while Bishop Okullu Magare from Homabay will tackle Itierio.

Kisii district secondary schools girl’s soccer queens Mosisa will face off with Nyamira’s Gekomoni while Mochengo will play Kereri Girls.
