Nationwide league side, Kisii Telkom have signed five new players to bolster the team this season. Telkom coach Elijah Onsika said the five include former Gor Mahia first choice goalkeeper, Charles Omondi "Korea" and striker Francis Odongo, both from Malindi Telkom. Also recruited to the Kisii side are Mid fielders Brian Tiema, George Ouma and Francis Obuya all previously with Kisumu Telkom.
Onsika, who is also a national under-19 coach said the five have already linked up with the new club at their Gusii Stadium training base. He said that his club is currently scouting for two defenders before January 10 when the nation-wide league first leg fixtures resume. Meanwhile, the KFF Premier League takes a three-week Christmas break beginning this weekend. According to fixtures sent to clubs by acting secretary general, Allan Chenane, the league resumes on January 10 next year. Premier League clubs are expected to break camp today to allow their players join their families for the Christmas and New Year festivities.
