In Kisii, Amabuko Secondary thrashed Itierio 2-0 while hosts Kisii High registered an impressive 4-0 against Ekerubo as the Copa Coca-Cola secondary school’s football tournament started in Kisii at the weekend.

Peter Makori netted the two important goals for Amabuko, while Omote Hargreaves netted two for Kisii High. Kevin Okello and Alex Kenyatta completed the wallop.

In another match, Amasago were held by Victory Nyambera 0-0. Sameta High from Gucha thrashed Nyanchwa 3-0. Lucas Osoro and Juma Wycliffe scored two and one goal each. Itierio bounced back after defeat to nail Amasagoi 1-0. Biven Ogoti gave Itierio the most important goal. Sameta, who had earlier won, were held by Ekerubo 0-0. Birongo also drew with Boitang’are 0-0 while Itierio enhanced their chance to move to the next level with an impressive 2-0 victory against Amasago. Victory Nyambera were held by Amabuko 0-0.

In the girls category Nyamagwa SDA thrashed Boruma 2-0, Suneka was held by Sengera 0-0. Other resulkst include; Mochengo 0 Okullu 0, Mochengo 0.
