The Roads minister said Narc-Kenya leaders should stop washing their dirty linen in public."It is surprising that before the party takes root its leaders are already fighting for leadership and criticising each other in public," said the Nyaribari Chache MP.Nyachae said Narc-Kenya should learn to respect other parties before reaching out to Kibaki to be its presidential candidate.
"It is embarrassing that some leaders in the party which has no known structures are antagonising their colleagues who want to contest against them for party leadership," said the Nyaribari Chache MP.Nyachae, while addressing a pro-Kibaki campaign rally in Nyamira on Friday, said Ford People would support Kibaki regardless of his party of choice. Cabinet minister, Mr Henry Obwocha, Assistant minister, Mr Joel Onyancha, MPs Mr Jimmy Angwenyi, Dr Hezron Manduku, Mr Zebedeo Opore, Mr Mwancha Okioma, Mr Stephen Manoti, Mr Okeri Masanya and East African Legislative Assembly MP, Mr Reuben Oyondi, were present.
Nyacha said his constituents had prevailed upon him not to retire from active politics."We have decided as a party to stick with Kibaki but it is up to him to decide his party of choice," said Nyachae. He, however, emphasised that Ford-People would not form a coalition with any other party and would therefore field parliamentary and civic candidates. The party will not field a presidential candidate. He told Narc-Kenya and ODM-Kenya to stop using his name while campaigning in Gusii land."I want to remind ODM-Kenya and Narc-Kenya leaders who will come here to look for votes that Gusii land has its owners who must be consulted," he said.
