A mass funeral service for the 29 Nyaribari Chache constituent members who died on a road accident along the Kisii - Keroka road be held on Monday. While condoning the bereaved families, the Nyaribari Masaba Member of Parliament - M.P. Dr. Heron Manduku announced that funeral expenses will be incurred by the communities M.P's.

However, Manduku wants the burial committee to overlook certain traditional customs. He said the bereaved families be allowed to bury their dead with urgency at their respective homes. Manduku said this will avert loss of time and prolonged vigil. In the accident, one family lost its six members.
