Gangsters Shoot down 26 yr old Opanga

Kisii deputy police boss Chemonges Ndiema said Mr James Keng’o Opanga, 26, was shot dead at his home in Nyaura village. He was picked up by the gangsters from a family meeting at home and shot twice in the chest with an AK- 47 rifle a few metres from the home, added the police chief.

Mr Ndiema said police were pursuing one of the gangster who was identified by relatives. The dead man was a brother of Bosongo chief George Mogaka, who has been given 10 days by unknown people to vacate his home. 

The chief has been threatened with death but Mr Ndiema played down the issue, saying the chief had not reported the incident to the police.
