Eighteen directors drawn from Kiamokama, Ogembo and Nyamache tea factories will participate.
The elections were necessitated by the retirement of Mr Zachary Nyarango who has attained the age 70 years, which is the maximum age for all directors.
"Those who wish to be elected should comply with the requirements provided for in the Articles of Association," Mrs Maina says in the notice.
Three aspirants had offered themselves for the position by yesterday. They are Mr Astariko Atika, Mr Nyamweya Matonda and Mr J. Mangerere. A move to push for the extension of Mr Nyarango's term was rejected.
Meanwhile the long awaited Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ogembo for the year 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 was put off at the eleventh hour after a group of farmers successfully sought for a court order stopping the meeting.
A new date for the AGM is yet to be announced even as the aggrieved farmers demand for the removal of certain directors of the tea factory.
