The ministers Raila Odinga (Public Works) and Ochilo Ayacko (Energy) said the Government will deploy the General Service Unit personnel in the area to help curb the clashes.
The duo expressed shock at the rate at which innocent lives were being claimed along the border for no apparent reason.
They said Narc pledged to Kenyans total security during the electioneering campaigns and said this will have to be implemented.
The remarks were prompted by protests from several councillors led by Charles Omolo who complained that the border feuds were claiming many lives.
The councillors argued that of late, the area locals were unable to develop their farms and take back their children to school for fear of attacks by suspected arsonists and raiders.
Yesterday, over 10 acres of cane was set ablaze along the border while the ministers were attending a burial in Rongo.
Police however moved swiftly to put off the fire as they launched a crackdown on suspected raiders.
Migori police boss Joseph Mberia said adequate security had been beefed up to ensure that the locals' lives were safe.
Some schools in the area have not re-opened for fear of attacks.
Ayacko was wildly cheered when he announced that the Government will deploy the GSU in the volatile area to deal with perpetrators of violence.
