The MPs accused Mr Nyoike of insubordination saying according to the party's constitution, he was Mr Nyachae's deputy.
In a statement read by Wundanyi MP Mwandawiro Mghanga at Parliament Buildings, the MPs urged Mr Nyoike to attend the General Council meeting today at Bomas of Kenya to raise any grievances he had against Mr Nyachae.
The General Council of the party brings together leaders from all its 210 branches countrywide.
Party leaders from Kisii and Gucha districts, led by Ogembo Town Council chairman David Nyang'au, described the suspension as inconsequential.
The agenda of the meeting called by Mr Nyachae is to reorganise the party.
Mr Mghanga claimed the National Executive Council which purportedly suspended Mr Nyachae was not legally constituted because genuine members were not invited.
Kitutu Chache MP Jimmy Angwenyi warned Mr Nyoike that he risked breaking up the party if he continued antagonising its leader.
The party's chief whip in Parliament, Mr Henry Obwocha, said: "Mr Nyoike should learn from history where some parties have died because of such squabbles".
Mr Zebedeo Opore (Bonchari) said Mr Nyoike was out to cover his undoing which was to be discussed by today's meeting.
Others who attended the press conference were Hezron Manduku (Nyaribari Masaba), Godfrey Masanya (Borabu North Mugirango) and Omingo Magara (South Mugirango).
In Kisii, the leaders told Mr Nyoike to stop manipulating the party's constitution for his own selfish motives, a move which would rock the party from within.
The leaders accused Mr Nyoike of waging a personal war against Mr Nyachae.
They said Mr Nyoike was bitter after the party nominated Mr Kipkalia Kones to parliament a move that thwarted the party chairman's quest to be nominated.
They said they fully supported their party leader in remaining actively in the opposition without necessarily joining Narc, adding that this was the only way of good governance.
"We don't want to kill the Opposition and revert to the one party system. Ford-P is here to stay with full participation in its role of Nation Building," said Mr Nyang'au.
They censured Mr Nyoike over his alleged mishandling of the party's affairs and asked him to first account for the disappearance of over Sh5million accrued from members during nominations in the last general elections.
"Nyoike should explain the disappearance of the party's funds totalling to over Sh5 million and why he secretly moved the party's files to new offices without consulting with members", Mr Mogaka said.
Mr Nyoike had said the NEC met and suspended Mr Nyachae for his alleged high handedness and failure to attend meetings
