Police impound bhang worth 1.4 million shillings

Police in Nyamira have impounded a haul of Bhang valued at 1.4 million shillings along Kebirigo-Kisii road. The bus owner is said to have tipped the Police at a Road Block near Kebirigo market.

The bhang was concealed in polythene papers and put inside the sacks containing cassava. The bus, Prim Timely Services was headed for Nairobi from Migori. Two women were arrested in connection with the incident.  Confirming the arrest, Nyamira OCPD Joseph Kimeli said that on receiving the information, he alerted his officers manning the roadblock.
