Man beaten to death by an angry mob

A man was on Monday stoned to death for allegedly killing another man. Mr George Nyambane was beaten to death by an angry mob in Makairo village of Bogichora location in Nyamira District. He is said to have killed Mr James Ogechi in a row over land.  

In the same district, a man killed his brother while fighting for a radio on Monday. Mr Omariba Motaroki was killed by his brother as the two scrambled for the wireless in Mongoris village of West Mugirango constituency. “The suspect hit his brother on the head with a plank killing him instantly,” Nyamira police boss Lawrence Mwaura said.
