Warrant of arrest issued against MP

Police were for the second time ordered to arrest an MP for failing to appear before court. On Friday, Kibera senior resident magistrate Cosmas Maundu issued an arrest warrant against Kitutu Masaba MP Walter Enock Nyambati following an application by inspector Capis Otieno.

The MP failed to appear before court to show cause why Sh500,000 he stood surety for an accountant facing criminal charges cannot be forfeited after the latter skipped bail.
