I think the Kisii community should be left alone to decide who to vote for. The kind of violence meted out recently to Mr Omingo Magara in his constituency should be condemned by Kisii people.
The barbarism was not at all a reflection of what the Gusii stand for with respect to the next General Election.  It was the work of a few misguided elements and their hirelings.  No single individual should impose a particular brand of leadership on the Kisiis.  It is my hope that my fellow Kisiis will stand firm in deciding the kind of leaders they want.
