Politics of Intimidation and Violence in Gucha, Culprits Must Be Arrested

The two camps, Ford People and ODM, went to the venue of the fundraising to raise funds for the youths. It is very unfortunate that politicians and people seeking leadership through election of the ballot decide to use a venue like this to achieve their innermost primitive animosity.

James Omingo Magara is the area MP and whether it is pepper and mace he has a right to attend a fundraising in his constituency. It is very disheartening that some politicians dished cash to an illegal youth movement to cause mayhem and harm to innocent politicians who came to attend the fundraising.

I thought Kenya was independent? I just found out that this is the violence Kibaki’s government will put in place if he is reelected. It is so absurd and gives a bad picture about people from S. Mugirango and Kisii tribe.

After all, if Ford People and PANU thought that it was their constitutional rights to hold a fundraising without opposition attending it, then they should have notified opposition through the court. The court should have clearly stated that the venue is a one party venue.

Democracy is not violence, hate and intimidation. Democracy is tolerance of the opposed; if the opposed are not tolerated then that indicates dictatorship. If PANU is dishing money for thugs to injure opposition what will happen when they take power?

Kenyans are told that Nyachae is suffering from cancer! So this is the evidence of his cancer in action! Gusii people should get a good physician to tackle the issue.

Those who injured and assaulted elected legislators in a venue protected by the Kenyan constitution which they are entitled to attend freely, must be punished by the law. Those whose pictures were taken armed with arrows and bows preventing members of parliament Ruto and Magara from attending the meeting as they had a right to must be arrested and prosecuted.

Kenyans will not tolerate violence as shown by PANU. Kibaki has Mungiki when Nyachae has Chinkororo. What a shame of these two oldies! Sixties! Colonial imperial agents!

In modern democracy, peace is the spirit of agreement within parties and inter-parties. If some of our elderly politician can show violence which the colonists used to rule Africans, then it is time we vacated politics under the cover of democracy.

You mean Nyachae watched the whole saga when the opposition politicians landed at the venue and were assaulted and did nothing? The action of Ford People and PANU as the umbrella party demonstrates what they are, who they are and what they stand for.

The innocent leaders who were assaulted while they came to give their donations should get their justice by arresting those who sponsored this arrogance, those who transported them there, those who paid them and those who mobilized this group to commit this terror.
