Kisii Schools Finals At Cardinal Otunga

The Kisii District Secondary Schools Sports Association announced that the games will include soccer, netball, volleyball and racquet games.
Boys will have new champions after former holders Riondong'a were banned last year for fielding ineligible players. Gianchere Friends Secondary School have emerged favourites after felling former champions Itierio Mixed in the quarter finals.
In Friday's boys' soccer semis, Kanunda Secondary will battle it out with Kegati Secondary while Gianchere Friends will take on unpredictable Suneka Mixed in another semi-final match.
In girls' soccer, Hema Mixed will play favourites Ongicha while Nyasore will battle it out with Suneka. The volleyball boys' semis will pit Riondong'a against Mosisa while host Cardinal Otunga will play Suneka. Nyanturago Mixed will play Mosisa in the girls' volleyball semis while Hema will battle it out with Ibacho Mixed.
In netball, Mobamba will play Bongonta while Hema will play Suneka in another semi-final match.
The association said the games will begin at 8 30 am and appealed to observe time. Former soccer power houses Itierio mixed and Kisii High were bundled out during the quarter finals.
