Nyachae resigns as Ford People leader

Former Cabinet minister Simeon Nyachae has officially resigned as Ford People leader. The Ford People national executive committee (NEC) announced on Friday that the position of party leader would be filled during a national delegates conference on November 28 at the Bomas of Kenya.

Secretary-general Francis Opar made the revelation at a press conference following a NEC meeting at the party headquarters. Two Ford People MPs Peter Mwathi (Limuru) and Joel Onyancha (Bomachoge) also attended the meeting
