Uhuru Pleads With Youths for Votes
The Ford-People presidential candidate Simeon Nyachae and his Narc counterpart Mwai Kibaki should retire along with President Moi and pave way for the young to lead.
Addressing hundreds of wananchi at Nyamira sports ground, Uhuru dismissed those claiming that youths were incapable of leading this country.
He said that even the first president and ministers had no experience when they took over the reigns of government but with guidance and co-operation from other Kenyans, they succeeded.
He said if he forms the next government, he will reward the Kisii community for support him.
He said for a long time, Kisiis and Kikuyus have been working together in many areas and hoped this time round, they will vote him in as President.
Uhuru said once he takes over the government he will make sure that all stalled projects will be completed singling out the Kisii-Chemosit road.
He said Narc summit members had resorted to threats and dared them to make true their State House storming as by that time, Kenya will have had the next President who will handle them appropriately.
