Linus Monari was one of the first kisii entreprenuers. He fought in both the first and second world wars and later settled in Kampala , Uganda,. He Moved back to kenya and settled in Nyabururu where he set up a couple of business ventures including masonry shop, transport and tenency. He is still alive and strong settled in the Sotik settlement scheme. He passed away at the age of 94 in 2007 survived by 25 children and over 200 grandchildren.
