Twenty-six aspirants eyeing the Bobasi parliamentary seat have started crisscrossing the area campaigning in their four-wheel drive vehicles that can withstand the impassable roads. However, the last time some of them visited the constituency was in December 2002. Many are confident to prove their credibility ahead of the General Election due in December. Every aspirant is trying to show they are worthy. They are doing everything from sponsoring football tournaments to co-ordinating bursary funds and even youth initiatives. The residents should know these leaders are only interested in their votes and would abandon them after the elections.
