NARC-K Bomachoge branch elects officials

The battle for NARC-K leadership in Bomachoge constituency went a notch higher over the weekend when two rival groups failed to meet for a planned reconciliation meeting.
The two groups, one led by Mr. Samuel Momanyi and another by former MP Ferdinand Obure, were supposed to meet last weekend but only the Obure camp showed up at Tendere where the meeting was supposed to be held..

After realizing that their rival group could not attend the meeting, the Obure camp went ahead to declare themselves the bonafide officials of NARC-K in Bomachoge constituency. They then went on to elect members of the recruitment committees to steer the affairs of the party. Speaking to the press, Mr. Obure claimed that the meeting had been arranged at the Party headquarters between the two groups and accused his rivals for trying to kill the party.

However, speaking on phone, the vice chairman of the rival group Mr. Ben Mogaka said that his group was not aware of any planned meeting between the two groups. Mr. Mogaka said that his group was the registered at the headquarters as the bonafide officials of the party and any efforts by the Obure camp to topple them will be fruitless. He blamed the Obure camp for trying to use confrontations to get into power.
