South Mugirango MP protests against location of the Headquaters

South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara led a group of people at the High Court in Nairobi to protest against the locality of the headquarters of the new Kisii South District.

They claim that the headquarters should have been at Nyamarembe and not Kerena area. They further claim that the decision was made without proper consultation with all those concerned.

They want the court to quash the decision of the permanent secretary, the district commissioner and Nyanza provincial commissioner.

They claim that the three government officials did not respond to the case since it was filed in court arguing that the court should grant them all the orders that they are seeking.

Justice Roslyn Wendo will rule on the matter on the 5th October this year.
