Two Students Stabbed to Death

Police in Nyamira are investigating the brutal murder of two school boys at Miriri sub-location. The boys were heading home from school when they were separately attacked by the assailants at the weekend.

The unknown attackers stabbed the students, one of whom died on the spot while the other died in hospital yesterday.

Relatives identified the deceased as Justus Omari, a Form Three student at Rigoma Secondary School and 14-year-old Misieri Ogato, a Standard Five pupil at Kegoge Primary School.

Ogato was found lying in a pool of blood with visible stab wounds in a tea plantation. Omari died at Bosongo medical clinic in Kisii town. The bodies were removed to Nyamira District Hospital mortuary.
