
Richard Momoima Onyonka The son to the late Cabinet Minister Dr Zachary Onyonka and was born in 1962. Momoima attended St Mary’s Mosocho Primary School, Kisii High School and St Mary’s School, Yala before he joined the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 1982, Onyonka was among the students who were jailed over the riots of the abortive coup and he had to return there in 1984 to later complete his course in 1985. After graduation Mr. Momoima went to North Carolina State University where he graduated with a Masters degree in management in 1986. He is a financial economist by profession and currently runs personal businesses in Nairobi and Kisii. He has held positions in the Kisii Kanu branch. Apart from having been a prolific campaigner for his father in the 1992,1997 and 2002 General Election, the eloquent Onyonka made a fruitless trial in the 2002 election, losing to Jimmy Angwenyi in a nail-biting tussle. His vision for the constituency includes economic empowerment of the common constituents, youth and women groups. He also says that educational standards will be his major focus if he is elected. He hails from Bogeka clan, having lived in Nyabururu /Nyamataro, Mosocho and Nairobi . Momoima is running on a ODM ticket. The race for parliament in Kitutu Chache is going to be one of the most interesting to pay attention to.
 Hezron Manduku Honorable Hezron Manduku, Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba constituency is a doctor by profession and a visionary leader who speaks integrity and acts with honesty. His passion for education, community service, healthcare and indefatigable efforts towards making a difference in the community has continued to extend his achievements and credibility as a development focused, innovative and unifying leader in Kisii and Kenya at large. Dr. Manduku continues to champion the power of collective action, service and volunteerism to solve some of the most challenging problems in our communities. This will be better remembered and more formally defined in history with his official launch of the “Service and Volunteerism Movement” later this year. Dr. Manduku first tried his hand in politics in 1988 during the single party era but lost to Professor Sam Ongeri. He returned 1992 general election, was successful and subsequently appointed Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs & International Co-operation.
In 1997, Manduku lost to Ongeri in the KANU nominations. In 2002, he decamped to ford people and was elected Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba constituency. He also serves as the chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Health, Housing, Labor and Social Welfare and was elected vice president for Africa in the fourth Global Forum of Parliamentarians on Habitat in Berlin Germany in 2003.
