Campaigns Hit Fever Pitch in Nyamira

Campaigns for the Ford People nominations have reached fever pitch in the three constituencies of Nyamira District.

In Kitutu Masaba former Chief Government Economist Timothy Bosire traversed the massive constituency in a do-or-die campaign escorted by a convoy of 10 vehicles.

He managed to woo Kengele Atati, also an aspirant for the seat, to his camp. Atati declared he had dropped his bid to support Bosire in the nominations highly expected on Friday.

Nyangau Okioma, a prominent Kisii businessman and an insurance executive Walter Nyambati were marshalling support from the electorate and separately expressed confidence that they will wrestle the seat from the outgoing MP, Mr George Anyona.
